How to get the white Bush ring into the shaft guide on the Musso Classica and Musso Stella

Occasionally, we receive questions about how to insert shaft bush ring 04 into the shaft guide. This refers to the white O-ring that sits around the shaft in the Musso Classica and Musso Stella Ice Cream Machine. The ring often appears to be much too large and difficult to fit.

However, the solution is straightforward. Unscrew the shaft guide by turning it counter-clockwise with pliers. Be sure to place some protection between the pliers and the shaft guide, as you wouldn't want to damage it.

Next, you can press the new ring in from the bottom. Use a thick pencil to push the ring upwards. The slanted side of the ring is the top. Then, tighten the shaft guide securely, and the problem is solved!

This O-ring should be replaced at least once every 4 years.
